gundams are high performance mobile suits belonging to the earth federation (universal century or the original timeline wise)
this is the grandaddy of gundams and the definition of gundam used to be p clear cut
a mech with that typa face is a gundam
but with the franchises latest series the term has gotten a lot looser imo
