Hello, for some quick context i have been working on a little game in Godot called "Fich Square". The name can change according to your feedback, don't worry. I started this project around June 2024, i wanted to create a small game before the winter break ended, so i could finally release a first game. Sadly, i did not manage to create it in the time promised. As you can see it has been around 6 months 😭 . Now, the holidays are about to end, but i'll be able to make some time for this in the year. Once i'm done i'll make a devlog about it on youtube.

The game will have a story-mode and an endless arena mode. That's about it.
You're a green square. You get a gun, so you kill red boys. You can also do stuff like bounce on your enemies like in mario for damage, unlock upgrades and other weapons and stuff. As for now i have only designed two levels. On the second one you unlock double jump.

I'd say the system for making weapons and enemies is really modular but it's yet to be completed, i'm missing like 2 small details.
The art is good... I think.
I will show some images and videos that i've been storing for the devlog, aswell as some sprites, so you can tell me if the game is even remotely playable. The footage i have are only of test levels.
All i want for the game right now is a lot of feedback to know if it can be any good as to not spend to much effort on a game that might not be that good.

Also, the enemy system is surprisingly good for what i can make. They are fully customizable and aside from the color of the square you can also put custom sprites and disable the square shape. I also added armor to them, they can have a chestplate (which does nothing and is purely cosmetic) and helmets. The helmets make enemies invulnerable to bouncing on their head, and if they have spikes on their helmet, it hurts you.

I hope you find any of this good. Please review the footage if you want to give some good feedback. Remember to give constructive opinions
