So, setting the proportions?
Usually, when starting a drawing, painting, sketch
If I am using a reference
I like to take a minute or two of looking at the referencw
And try and imagine how can it be simplified into simple geometrical shapes (spheres, triangles)
When building the base, fidelity is not the most important aspect, but the sensation that it feels right
It should be done in traces that feel natural and flowy
