Well I tried doing it in UE4, and from experience it is hard to do it solo and in 3D. However it was fun, and I managed to make 2 levels. In 1 day, not much fixes. Just for fun. A space theme One Life Troll Parkour Game with 1 life, Doing 2 levels with 1 life. :D

There are multiple game engines to make your own games out there like Gamemaker, Unity, Unreal and Godot (etc.). A game engine allows you to add your art and code into one visual place to make your game. You need to decide which one is best suited for you. You should look at what each engine offers. In terms of what you'd get if you make money from the game, the coding languages they use, the usability, if it runs on your pc - even look at other games that have been made in each engine.
Unreal uses this thing called 'blueprints' which requires no coding really, it's just like Scratch, where you use pre-set building blocks to make your game. This might be easier for you to learn, but long-term won't help you with other real coding languages.
I'd watch some videos on YouTube about comparisons on which game engine to choose from.

If you choose unity, like a lot of us did, you can go to unity.com/learn and follow their professional tutorials on how to navigate the engine, write scripts and whatnot. If it's any motive to you, I'm fourteen and I've been delving in and out of game development for the last couple years.
It might sound like a lot to take in right now, but there's a whole lot more to cover. If you are really looking for some help and advice I'd watch @sour tusk 's video of which he shows his process of learning over 6 months, or checkout some other videos by people like Brackeys and @mental umbra (all on youtube). They will teach you how to make art for your games, music, code and everything else that goes with it.

As a beginner, I found it helpful to watch livestreams of people making games on twitch.tv as I could see realtime what they were doing and how a game was structured. If I asked, they'd usually explain to me what everything meant too. You don't need to have any school qualifications or buy any books to begin. You just need the internet and space to download your chosen engine.

but before you start learning to code, I'd highly recommend you improve your English skills. The programming languages aren't just written in English, but most if not all of the tutorials are.
