IN MY OPINION
With the player and the ai being really fast, it just doesnt work in this game, especially with how cramped and small the houses are because you always find yourself running into objects or walls and getting caught really easily by the ai that can obviously perfectly navigate the house (And pass trough literally everything besides walls), i feel like the game should atleast make the player and ai a little slower to to make it atleast a little easier to navigate around houses and stuff

you can hide from npcs and temporarily knock them out (and throw them out of their own houses) by throwing heavy stuff at them
That doesnt really help since you barely get enough time to reacting before they come up to you and grab you
(Besides jacob)
And even if they were to add something like a spotting animation it really wouldnt help since the gameplay is still so fast paced

I agree, and in turn it makes you try and rush the game and instead of taking time to find alternative solutions to a problem or route you just try to brute force it because you're kind of 'stressed' to make a fast decision

Yeah I think npcs should slow down when inside to make chase feel closer to hn1 pre alpha
my complaint is more about the uh
when your caught
the npcs are way too fast
if it would be like the guest in the hn2 alphas where he gets slowed down when dragging you i dont think id have a complaint
