to be completely fair i haven't finished the game yet nor did i explore that much (i am doing that slowly but surely) so my opinions are going to be really subjective
the positives
- the stealth in pre-alpha is unlike any stealth ever in the hello neighbor franchise. i found sneaking in and out extremely fun and just generally it's just built so well into the game
- nikita is right when he said to explore the game yourself and not seek for answers from somebody else. it genuinely makes the game way more interesting and honestly if you're gonna ask someone how to achieve a certain thing, then what's the point of you playing the game at all
- this is debated but i would say the ai is better in this build compared to prototype 3. sure, it's buggy but i found it more complex and fun, although it is annoying sometimes which i'll talk about
- the map is obviously better however that's not as major of a thing but it's still amazing
- the objective system was pretty good too. it helped me understand what i'm "supposed" to do. i know the point of the game is to just play around and explore yourself until you achieve something but without the objective system it'd be pretty much impossible to complete the pre alpha
there's probably more good stuff about this build than i remember and if i do i'll add it into this list
the negatives
- so i as i said the ai was sometimes annoying, like for example when jacob would just come at you for no reason and start throwing things at you. nobody understood why that was the case until iirc nikita said that they hate(?) almira because she's a GA employee. after that has been said it's more understandable but gameplay-wise it can feel annoying especially when you havent done anything bad to them
- the lag was BY FAR my biggest issue with the game. i believe it comes from the TONS of foliage in the map and im pretty sure others have pointed that out too so i hope they really work better on optimization in the next build
