In my opinion, the addition of objectives made game not so interesting.
I know that it was hard to complete Prototype 3, main problem was lack of hints, but now we have objectives, and this change removes the reason to explore and think. The most interesting part of Prototypes was that you need to figure out what should you do, and you need to finish everything in time. Yes, Prototypes lacked hints, but objectives, it's too much. And the time pressure, the one of aspects that made this game interesting, is not working anymore.
In my opinion, you should leave "notes" that could be transferred to different sessions because it's our knowledge, announce the main goal at the beginning and leave the hint about what we should do to begin with.

maybe you could make the objectives more broad or find them on a piece of paper and make it so you have to write the notes yourself.
imo just preserve whats written in the notes you collect
they should be stored in their own kind of inventory not the items inventory
judst like they are in pre alpha
Golden apple employee handbook with the notes saved in it would be cool
