What the game needs:

  • vaulting/climbing system
  • Less fall damage penalty
  • AI needs to function more like the player, with opening doors and not being able to enter with closed doors. Chase music might also improve the experience.
  • AI should lose interested once you leave the property (Jacob will seemingly chase after you all around the map)
I think they need to balance the exploration with the objectives, where it’s not as directionless as prototype 3 but not as simple as the pre alpha. Also I don’t mind the small and tight rooms, but the AI just flying through the doors and objects makes it much more difficult tbh.
  • I like how the characters mostly stay at their own property now, however they seem to know where you are at all times when inside their property. The game would work better if you could more easily sneak into the locations and actually stealth around without them flying up to you and throwing you out a window.
  • The movement needs to be slowed down inside houses, as having both the AI and player move so quickly through the tight spaces. If they can slow down the player it would really improve the experiences inside houses.

What the game has done well:

  • art style is becoming better.
  • Interiors have better detail and feel much more fun to explore.
  • Locations are good, and the models are starting to improve.
  • Characters look good.
  • Music is amazing.
  • Sound design is really good.
  • Etc.

I think having both in a balanced way could work.

Also I feel like Janusz need fixing because he just sits in cries for most of the game. And not working as usual

I’m pretty sure the reason for the AI’s knowing where the player is located is probably because they now can hear the player running/walking
