i think making the map less foliage dense and slightly less "wrecked" would significantly improve player direction and freedom, more open space would remove the claustrophobic feel in and outside of the various buildings. If this is done in a way where it still keeps the original concepts of hn3 unlike what happened with hn1/2 then i think this can turn out really good.

absolutely i feel like i cant see where any thing is i like the foliage but just a bit less more detailed foliage would do much better as i cant see where any buildings are
exactly, i appreciate some nice foliage but not when its obstructing view and dithering performance
I kinda like them but I can understand the argument to reduce the amount
there are so many trees they clip through everything lmao
i love the amount of trees but i do think there should be areas with more spaced out trees near key locations

it can work if its cleaned up a little
right now the intentionality of the claustrophobia is overshadowed by the amount of foliage and the current map layout
