#Issues regrading Pre-alpha

I have played HN3 for 4 hours now and.. it was slightly great than before. The reason was there are still issues that bother me.

  1. The Item Reset. Instead of reset the whole item in the inventory, you can keep the key items for the next day. This is will make the gameplay more fun and slightly easy for new players and skill issued players (like me)

  2. The GAAP is infested with The Guest. The whole park is merely unexplored due to guest kept coming here and then. While there are certain light source to stay, but it still not enough. The map itself a bit 'loaded' and I constantly missed the Ice Cream Booth. The Map Guide wasn't enough.

  3. Item durability (THE MOST ANNOYING THING FOR ME). The last couple prototypes had good item durability. The crowbar being the strongest one to break and the screwdriver being the strongest item to fix. But, this time, the items are a lot weaker than before. The items had to be weaker so it can be 'realistic'? I had to run fourth and back to just grab a single crowbar. The flashlight turbo mode also need some improvement. Maybe add a battery system?

  4. Characters throwing the player and it kills. Fall damage is a great idea. Like the previous game, it was slightly balanced. This time however it's a bit... sensitive. Maybe make the characters throw you off the front door instead off a cliff.

The pre-alpha itself is great but needs some improvement so that the next alpha stage playable to all players. We humans tend to make mistake and we have to learn from it. I'll give it 6/10. (Ignore my grammar mistakes. I bad at it. )

Yeah i agree with fall damage, its way to sensitive, maybe they should make it so if its not as hight you just slip and fall off of where you were trying to land

  1. Honestly, being able to keep the notes you made is enough to make this sort of redundant. If there’s no negatives to restarting, then it’s just freeing up your time before the storm

  2. As for the map stuff, I just recommend you start by getting a sense of direction and paying attention to the lit paths. It’s honestly not bad to navigate using them and the Ice Cream Path is made so very obvious once you’re near it.

  3. I would agree with this if it weren’t for the fact there are some special items such as the sledgehammer that have crazy usage. Mix the sledgehammer with a screwdriver and you have a destroying machine.

  4. I completely agree. Fall damage in this game is odd in my opinion, and I think the NPC dragging—of which is very difficult to escape from—can be very unforgiving in this regard.
