#feeling like there is a "wrong" way to play the game

There were many points in this alpha where I felt like I was playing the game wrong (becuse the game will reset itself if you fall or get caught by the guest)

I assume this isn't how the game is supposed to make you feel do to the whole "there is no wrong choice" thing

It's meant to add challenge and to stop the repetitiveness of constantly trying to escape the Guest's den every time he catches you.

And Pre-Alpha is way less of a "game over" then Prototip 3 because instead of starting again, objective progress and knowledge carrys over.

Sorry, I didn't phrase myself right. In short, I'm just saying that I miss the Guest's den, because now I can't try to save myself from him if an accident outside my control happens.

For example, in one playthrough Jacob never stopped attacking me, despite me not being in his territory, and eventually he threw me in an area where the guest caught me and I had no flashlight. It just felt unfair that I got surprise attacked and I couldn't do anything, because the flashlight is the only way to escape the guest now. (Before anyone says "Why didn't you prepare a flashlight just in case?" I did, but I gave it to Jacob, thinking it'd pacify him.)

Like this is probably the most repetitive version of hn3 so far

In the prototypes, you quite literally had to start again from the beginning every time. With Pre-Alpha, no matter how many times you get killed, you're still making progress in some capacity.
