#feeling like there is a "wrong" way to play the game

It's meant to add challenge and to stop the repetitiveness of constantly trying to escape the Guest's den every time he catches you.
Doesn't that contradict what Nikita said? He said that "There's no Game Over" until the storm arrives, yet now there IS a Game Over.
Also, escaping the Guest's den wasn't that difficult in P3 and I don't see reason for removing this.
I never said it was difficult, I said it got really repetitive and making so it just reset the time just helps the pacing.
And Pre-Alpha is way less of a "game over" then Prototip 3 because instead of starting again, objective progress and knowledge carrys over.
Sorry, I didn't phrase myself right. In short, I'm just saying that I miss the Guest's den, because now I can't try to save myself from him if an accident outside my control happens.
For example, in one playthrough Jacob never stopped attacking me, despite me not being in his territory, and eventually he threw me in an area where the guest caught me and I had no flashlight. It just felt unfair that I got surprise attacked and I couldn't do anything, because the flashlight is the only way to escape the guest now. (Before anyone says "Why didn't you prepare a flashlight just in case?" I did, but I gave it to Jacob, thinking it'd pacify him.)
Yeah but the problem is
It's not really fun in Its current form
Like this is probably the most repetitive version of hn3 so far
In the prototypes, you quite literally had to start again from the beginning every time. With Pre-Alpha, no matter how many times you get killed, you're still making progress in some capacity.
May or may not have gotten a LITTLE angry with Jacob..
I murdered him twice via giving him to the guest.. and blowing up the the bakery with both of us inside..
