Secret Neighbour is indeed a good game, but 75 yuan makes everyone look away. And I know you want more and more players in this game, so you can only set the price for free.

People who are disagreeing are very concerning. I guess they want people to spend $20-$30 on a game with mid balancing, terrible anti cheat, lots of hackers, no updates for 2-3 years, and a lot of map exploit spots that haven’t been addressed. The game isn’t worth much at this point and should be free coming from someone with almost a thousand hours on the game.

I don't know the ins and outs of SN bans, but even with ip bans if they were to make the game free they'd especially have to keep an eye out as it'd open the floodgates. And it'd probably shift to the IOS approach with having to pay for the characters since the team would still need to make money on SN to support the servers and what not, and not everyone who plays the game is going to buy tickets.

Don't take this as if I'm like 'oh the game should stay at $20 cause I'm a fan', I personally think it should have a bit of a price reduction unless/if Holo is planning a update like right around SAND gets released, but I'm just also thinking of this in the view of a game developer. FollowerShrug

I'd imagine It's a 'every bit counts' thing. Don't think they'd just use the funds from, let's say for an example HN1 sales to power SN's servers. And in a case where I'm wrong about specifically tB hosting servers and it's holo instead (like I said, don't know the full ins and outs), it still makes sense to have Holo be paid for SN to help keep their server running if just they are hosting it.

TL;DR
Should it be free? No, especially with the already free SN IOS 'pay to get characters' thing and the need for money to help support servers.
Should it have a price reduction in my eyes? Yes, unless they have something planned around the corner.
