To this day, we've already seen the playercount drop massively. We've seen multiple threads about bringing back features to SN. And people aren't so happy about the recent updates that made the game fell off. So, I have drafted an idea that the developers should revert the late 2023 updates and why.
First of all, the Halloween 2023 update. It brought new characters and a whole visual overhaul. The community didn't like the HN2 graphics and lighting at all.
They didn't fit together and it doesn't look appealing to the players anymore. To be honest, older graphics need to return, the HN1 ones mainly. They were so cartoonish and colourful, fitting the game completely well.
Secondly, the cheaters. Steam is flooded with hackers. And on consoles, we did have some cheaters; but they can't hack the whole game, just basic stuff like their character speed, getting rare outfits, free coins/coupons, etc.
This game really needs a strong anti-cheat and also good moderation so the environment is fair for all players. This also goes for bug abusers, patch whatever bugs and glitches people use.
Finally, the characters. They have been seen as "unbalanced". Quentin shouldn't ideally be in the game.
I understand that in the story he's helping the rescue squad with whatnot, but that does not officially mean he should fit within the explorers entirely. Also for Otto, the shotgun isn't neccesary. Simple fix? Just balance or remove them. Instead, add more neighbors or kids rather than completely different characters.
So yeah, I think older versions of SN should return. Maybe before Summer Camp or Call of the kra update? But definitely before Halloween 2023. Revert them and this should bring the game back to its potential.
Thanks for reading, if you didn't understand, my bad. Sometimes my communication may not be worded correctly. I'd like to see some community evaluation.
