I just wanted to ask this because

1. I want to play the game on multiplayer with a friend of mine
2. He feels uncomfortable wasting 30$ for me to gift him the game for us to play a multiplayer mod together.
3. I don't know if this is okay but please, let me know, I really want to play the game with him but I don't wanna have him uncomfortable.

We kinda need a christmas sale, I've been waiting a while for the sale, where is it?

I understand if this gets declined, I feel like I'm rushing the developers-but I just wanna try out the game without wasting money too much.
