Ok since these are alphas release I think it counts as HN1 I think these versions should be playable on MacBook cause why not you able to play the full release on it. You don’t gotta make every single hello neighbor playable on macbook but make at least one hello neighbor alpha for MacBook cause many people enjoy it on YouTube I even wanna play it so please do it I want at least one alpha to be on there
#Make hello neighbor pre alpha and alpha 1 and alpha 2 playable on MacBook

why can't you play it
Cause it’s for windows only apparently, I can only play hello neighbor full release and hello neighbor 2 cause it’s playable on MacBook. The alphas versions are windows only
get a windows computer then
🤯
This would involve them having to PERFECTLY recreate builds that are up to a decade old because the project files were either updated into what is now hello neighbor 1's fullgame or corrupted (specifically pre-alpha)
this is not happening
i mean hn1 full game and the alphas are different projects
(probably, just going off the names of the files)
from alpha 1 it's all the same project
prealpha's the only different one, and iirc it was corrupted
fair ig
it got corrupted during ai rundown and prototype stages
exactly bro
prototype came before the pre-alpha
and nobody can seem to agree if ai rundown is after or before
after or before steam pre alpha you mean?
how come it would have animations for the neighbor that are only in the prototype alongside early versions of said animations being in the steam pre alpha
what does that change at all
i was trying to specify
theres different versions of it with small changes
because they overwrote the animations with older ones and didn't care enough to fix it
steam one is one of them
how would they even do that
the animations when imported just so happeend to have the same name as pre-existing ones
so ue4 automatically reimported them
replacing the animations
i don't believe that's true
the older version of the windowjump animation is there alongside the one from the prototype
how come it would have a different name but the others wouldnt
theres a distinct difference between multiple screenshots of pre alpha
screenshots are not playable builds
the earliest known one is in the enviorment of the early proto
they were playable at some point in time by the developers
they were not built and packaged into something that could be run on a computer, though
hence the name build
then what should they be called
they were taken in the UE4 editor
screenshots, goober
they're screenshots
cant they be called early versions tho
yes
but this has NOTHING to do with what we're talking about
ok thats good ill call them that now
screenshots of different versions of the pre-alpha plastered around for promo doesn't make the different places you can find the pre-alpha have different builds
oh yeah what were we talking about again
they're all the same pre-alpha build
they just took a LOT of promo screenshots from various points in time
i still think its good to differenciate some early screenshots because like
theyre all of early steam pre alpha
they're not of early steam pre-alpha
they're just of early pre-alpha
steam doesn't have a unique version of pre-alpha
there's just one build
that we can play
but the thing is
its a build thats outdated compared to like ai rundown
no we dont
it still feels weird not falling pre alpha steam pre alpha
considering i once called prototype alpha -0.5 probably yeah
same reason they replaced wallpaper 22 with an updated wallpaper 13 instead of just replacing wallpaper 13
(they didn't care that much)
they weren't ever gonna re-use those announcement trailer animations
why would they try to keep track of them
im not smart enough to know wallpapers by their name i dont know what youre talking about
okay so wallpaper 13 is like the
alpha 2 bathroom one
and old wallpaper 22 was this green tile wallpaper used in the alpha 2 player house
interesting
