Alex said alpha 2 was what they were working on for the public to play in the hello neighbor showcase, but when Nikita left and Alexus took over, they cancelled it.

These are images which have been publicly shared bye tinybuild of the gray manor interior . We can see it was quite built up and looks ready to be played.

I don’t agree that the game was just some sort of test and was unplayable and was only made for promotional purposes.

Because we have seen a lot of footage available showcasing gameplay yes maybe a lot of the map was buggy and unfinished but definitely some areas were ready.Also the game was meant to be released very late during 2021.

i think alot of the reason why people want this build is that it represents a different concept for the games development

there was still a big focus on the lore from the 1st game and the guest, along with a darker and more investigative feel'
