Apparently they're working on a new game called SAND.

How long have they been working on “sand” for

Since the Halloween 2023 update of secret neighbor, or earlier I believe. We basically got zero news since, and all we got was the automated updates (Halloween, Xmas decorations etc) and that's it I believe. I understand they are working on another game, but it would be good if they communicate their plans with us.

They said that all of the team is working on HN3, so there might not be any updates for the hello neighbor franchise until after the game is finished.

Hologyrth, the creators of Secret neighbor is currently working on a game called SAND. HN3 is being worked on by Eerie Guest only I believe

Yeaa.. Halloween 2023 certainly was not my favourite update. It was basically an advertisement to HN2 it seems like

Maybe they might revert the art style?

They really should have done a survey about the artstyle change and all though, to see the community's opinions before such a major change

I hope that the HN2 art style is temporary

Being that not all assets were changed

I’d assume the characters and cosmetics would stay, but the artstyle should revert to HN1

They said that they have no plans to revert the artstyle back to HN1.

Tbh, HN2 artstyle is not all bad, there are plenty of rooms that need to be re-done though, and don't get me started on the broken lighting
HN1 artstyle though has a enjoyable vibe, mainly since its what the game was built around, and what we all knew was the original

But I also like HN2

Realistic, cartoony and eerie vibes

They literally did a poll in #polls to count how many people prefer which
Some aren't sn but lets pretend options are hn1 or hn2 graphics

HN1 artstyle (applies to sn) wins by default

So THAT was kind of a survey because they make us open up of our preference

Seems like HN2 alphas artstyle won, then HN1 next. Even though HN2 full style, and the HN2 alpha artstyle is similar.
Yet, if this was for Secret neighbor, it would be great if they actually labelled it saying potential artstyle for SN. Personally I chose HN2 alpha artstyle there, but if I knew if it was for SN, then I would have not chose it.

Then if the poll were for sn only, then hn1 graphics has won. So it should return in this case. Around 400 people voted for this

so literally all of them helped on sand instead they should split into groups for sn and sand then its FAIR

they deleted all Steam DB builds, that ussually means that they are not going to work on the game. They currently working on game sand, and they said that they are planning for next steps for Secret Neighbor. But i higly doubt they will do something.
