#Please offer a discount for HN3 to HN2 and HN2 Deluxe Owners

I'm going to try and be nice with this feedback since I don't want to come off as rude possibly, but I want to throw my two cents into the ring.
I'm not going to lie here, I'm a bit hesitant to pay full price for HN3 after having done so for HN2's Deluxe Edition and the reveal of it being cancelled under the hood. I get Nikita is clearly being passionate about his work and I am really liking his interactions, being open with the community, and what I've seen so far with HN3, but I don't know if I want to pay 40-60 dollars.

I suppose the discount could vary depending on the overall content of HN3 (hours of play, replayability, reception, etc), what edition of HN2 you have, stuff like that. I don't know the pricing of HN3 so I'm not going to say 'Oh give 50% off' or 'Make it $10.'

I just don’t know what to expect anymore like we waited 3-4 years for hn2 for it to not live up to most of us expectations at all

And now a hn3 is being worked on I’m just tired of waiting and hoping for things to turn out good

I understand the wanting HN3 for free thing and I'm kind of wanting that myself. However, I'm looking at it realistically through the eyes of game development and tinybuild does need to make at least some kind of profit off of HN3 to help fund further projects if the game is actually a success (which I'm hoping). Which is why I think a notable discount (like 25% or 30% or higher) is more likely than downright free codes for every HN2 owner.

As for HN2 refunds, IDK how steam handles refunds directly considering their normal policy, like if game developers can open up refund requests that are past the normal refund requirements.

It might be more likely for it possibly being free for HN2 Deluxe owners, but I don't know. I know some companies sometimes provide sequels for free for game owners like what Superhot did for 'MCD' I suppose in the end we'll have to see, but I'm just hoping we get at least a discount.

I think HN3 being free for HN2 owners is more of an obligation than something nice. HN2 being left unfinished (along with countless false promises) is straight up consumer law violations, so a free game code is the least they could do 🤷‍♂️ the chance of them actually giving out free codes is probably pretty small though 😔

Just going to drop my own opinion. Those who brought HN2 should get a discount for HN3 as said above (I'll say 30% - 40% off or maybe higher). Ik this might not seem fair since HN2 was cancelled and unfinished, but devs need profit to keep development going. I know some new people might come along to get the game if it was free, but still the game might not be making enough off that, they need profit for development to continue.

I see your point, however I am happy to pay for it as HN2 was still a great game regardless of tiny build’s decision to discontinue it they and eerie guest did an great job, and I am sure HN3 will be reasonably priced and will be even better.

I wouldn’t say HN2 was great, especially with its lack of a real story, but it has its good moments, I’ll agree with that. It was very overpriced tho, so idk but HN3 might be too 😔

It seems to me that you just need to include HN3 in Deluxe version HN2, but I understand that TinyBuild is a very greedy company and it will never go for it.

if you own hn2 then you can get unreleased maps/ un used content if u own/wishlist hello neighbor 2 like what they did in alpha 1.5 where if u had/wichlisted hn2 you could get a grappling hook, thats kind of it in terms of fairnes cuz then nobodey has to buy hn2 they just have to wishlist it or something so they can then get extra stuff, thats my 2 cents
