When i spent 2 hours on my map, i saved and quit the game entirely, i went back in the game 1 hour later and it didnt save. But if you dont quit the game entirely and just leave the editor and go back in, it will save, but if you quit the game after doing that it will do the above

I am pretty sure that this is due to the fact that the map has already been uploaded to the workshop and you have subscribed to it, and if you subscribe to your map, then the editor will have exactly this version that was in the workshop, try to unsubscribe from your map when you update it in level editor
