Ai update.
tiny build needs to train the AI to put traps and cameras in more correct and smart places. for example, if you keep hiding in a certain closet, the ai puts a trap in front of it so that when you go to quickly enter the closet at the same time as the ai is chasing you, it falls into the trap and catches you, or on the contrary, the Ai puts a camera in front of the closet. -
First level basement change.
in the basement of the first house at the beginning of the game they should add a much bigger room or many more rooms with too many puzzles for the player to solve because at the moment we are talking the game in the basement has a red key to get out of the basement which it doesn't make any sense because you get in to get out. -
add new way to know where ai is.
add a shop to raven brooks that You can buy electronic items with an ai in them. In this shop you can steal cameras while the ai is chasing you. This will make the game better as you will always know where the ai are in the rest of the houses because now there is only one camera you can get in the first level of the game. with the many cameras you can place in different places you will always know where the ai is. To make the game experience better. -
Quality of life changes

i feel like some of these are ok but idk if they'd do the shop one
shop wouldnt work since there isnt any way to get money
4 is just the average "add extremely vague thing because it would be cool"
2 wouldnt work since chapter 1 is about the house
not the basement
and there wouldnt be any ai in the basement
and the house already has enough puzzles
an ai being in the basement would only rly work in the beta bc the door's unlocked in it
"tiny build needs to train the AI to put traps and cameras in more correct and smart places" neighbor just puts the traps in random places, and the ai doesnt even have cameras
the cameras for the ai idk would be necessary bc the houses are so small
the mayor's is the only one i feel would need cams
or
have them work
or fit
I say to have an AI that catches you but you going to steal the cameras from the shop.
To put cameras like the first hello neighbor game
If tinybuild make the AI better just putting cameras or traps in front of closet or puzzles that you need to solve or hide then the game became more difficult to play
The game here in Greece cost €40 which is about 60 Cad or 45 US $ on the game has only 2 hours of gameplay so it needs a bigger basement with more puzzles
And secrets to explore
Yeah I know
It does not need a bigger basement
Don’t want to repeat that all over again
I wish we could have gotten what alpha 2 was
The bigger map and different areas to explore other than the neighbours houses
Okay
hate to disappoint but this 'alpha 2' definitely did not have anything to explore other than AI houses and random empty locations just like alpha 1 did
its possible it didn't even have a proper open world just fast travel between locations
but yeah it would definitely be nice to have a bigger world with hidden secrets/puzzles and more items
the fountain was a good start, now we just need a bigger map and like 15 more of those
there was a few bg houses that looked like they had puzzles like a1.5
this could also be random test rooms and/or early manor rooms
considering half of them have like no textures and stuff
and there's pictures of the neighbor in them
we also haven't seen much background houses that look like they could be enterable in alpha 2
there was one that definitely was
id say some are probably early manor and neighbors house rooms (toolroom and living room), but others id say were probably bg houses
I understand that but from all the promotional material we got it seemed like the story was more in depth
the only story alpha 2 had was what was in the 16 hour stream
Look at this
very cool

I wonder why they scrapped the grey manor
But it was completely changed inside and out and renamed
not renamed
gray manor was called the hideout
museum was also called the hideout
Ok but still completely different to the museum
not really
beta museum is pretty much just the finished gray manor interior
gray manor in the ai trailer only had like 1 or 2 rooms actually inside it
Fine but they definitely cut down on a lot of rooms then
only 1
Sure but they obviously had an idea of what the final manor would be
no they didnt
im pretty sure this room is one of the only ones that didnt end up getting reworked somehow into the museum
The main tv area also
no
the living room was being made
it was remade in the beta unused
and it ended up being remade in fg, just with a different purpose
leslie was meant to patrol outside
obviously that would be useless in fg
and the donut shop was replaced by the bakery
What happened to the detective?
Guy from hello guest
yeah, thats mith
What’s he returning in
this photo was in patch 9
Are they working on a patch 10?
yes
theres going to be at least 3 acts for hn2
and we only have the first one so far
no
Wasn’t the guest supposed to stalk you at night as well?
And where was this photo In the game?
forest somewhere
The basementin the game does make some sort of sense because the player thinks that the child is still locked in the basement and wants to get him out and the coo might have not looked yet. Or the player wants to see if there is a clue, which there is one leading to figuring out where Peterson is hiding, and they just go out the back because the basemt door closes
Also the ai is good enough to make you have to sneak around
Also the I don't think we need cameras and the ai evolves when you play
The basement suggestion is not good
That doesn’t make sense
i mean i feel like the basement should have more than it does rn tbf
not like more in terms of exploration
but more conststancy
to hn1
Maybe a puzzle
But not a huge basement
yeah
I absolutely agree with the first. now the AI feels scripted if anything. he sees me and he runs to look for me under the table.
or doesn't chase me, just stares. man's just tired.
on the other hand the guest is unbearable. so they definitely know how to make a working AI, the townspeople are just dumbed down. i think they even slowed down the neighbor in the final battle which is a downgrade.
Can we please just agree that making the neighbors lightspeed is not a solution
Man I hated the old final boss
We want a dynamic and adaptive AI, now that's an interesting challenge. Not a dumb but fast neighbor.
