When the AI see's you their heads follow you but thats not enough when they do like a certain animation like Theodore shouting after you escape. In those animations the characters eyes just look at one location because it's animated like that so if the player moves to the side, it looks weird and robotic. If the eye followed you it would overall look better

how would they do that if its animated
the same way they do for the head? Idk i dont know Unreal that much but i think it's possible isnt it
the eyes would still move because of the animation
but also layering the look at function to face the player
it would multiply the two and look horrible
Well the simple solution is that you can remove the eye movement in the anim
