Currently, there is a massive issue in the game where players will stick together on purpose to guarantee they will not get caught or split up so I have another suggestion here today if anyone in the squad sees the neighbor chasing them and they gain fear and mange to get away if they decide to stick around with the other squad members after that the other members will start to very slowy start to hallucinate and see visions of the neighbor covering there screen a bit that was chasing that other player eventually if they stay together for too long fear will start to trigger as they stick together eventually if they stay together for to long their screen will be completely covered in the vision and slowly start taking damage from fear the only way to get the vision off your screen is to get away from the player who was chased by the neighbor before this would punish players who stick together the whole match and punish them for not splitting them up for at least a minute

So, we’re basically punishing players for playing the way the game encourages you to play?
The problem is people stick around together and that makes winning his neighbor harder and unfair And as I said, this only triggers if one of the players has seen the neighbor and managed to escape and because if this player stays near other players, for too long, the other players will hallucinate about the neighbor Chase and if they stay together for too long the vision of the neighbor will stay on their screen covering it entirely and slowly start taking damage from fear
So pretty much a player can become an obstacle meaning you can’t stick together with them
Otherwise, they’ll just cause issues therefore they can’t stick together and have to split up for 1 minute
This punishment is kind of bs tho. It would’ve been fine if you only made it a hallucination of a phantom neighbor chasing you, but adding damage and covering the entire screen? That’s kinda too much. I understand that kids grouping up can be difficult and annoying for Neighbor players, but there are many counters against this type of play.

it’s a pretty bad tip, it encourages extremely unbalanced and unfair gameplay

If they stay together for too long
Such as not splitting up and sticking together in the same area so pretty much if you get chased by the neighbor you’ll become an obstacle to the other players because they will hallucinates meaning you can’t stick together so if everyone has been chased you can’t stick together at all otherwise everyone will hallucinate standing near you about the chase and start taking damage from fear and having there whole screen covered if they stay longer then 3 minutes and would have to get away from each other to get rid of the effect for at least a minute

Yeah, I rather have it where the neighbor just needs more ways to split up explorers rather than adding a feature where the game punishes explorers for doing something that the game encourages in the tips.
Like what if there is a moment where the explorers want to be a troll and follow that one explorer that’s hallucinating to grief them and making them take damage on purpose? That can be a huge problem 
That is also a good point, when i suggest some features I sometimes have to stop and think 'how could people try and exploit this' like when i was going to suggest allowing the neighbor to move the staircases using the remote control...then i realized itd mean troll neighbors would make certain parts of the map inaccessable since they'd just close them the second theyd be open
You think playing the neighbour is hard to win????!No way the neighbour role is just way too ovwrpowered and strong.You do not even need to be secret anymore.Just basement camp and you win or play the gueat and you can catch kids across the whole map.The neighbour role is too strong and brainless.It is so hard for the kids to find hundreds of keycards and 6 keys of the correct colour to unlock the basement and win while also remembering their is a killer neighbour
The neighbor is not overpowered
It’s easy to play as the kids if you know how to counter the neighbor, your teammates are not brainless and know how to play. The neighbor can be overpowered, but only if the players dont know what they are doing. All that aside, the neighbor is mostly in a disadvantage sometimes and the role requires lots of brainstorming (depending on which Neighbor you’re playing as).
I remember when I got into Matches where my teammates? Didn’t even know how to kick down the door and sometimes even the neighbor didn’t know how to kick down the door. Can we go back to those times those were fun

because theres gonna be that one guy that just sticks by someone, causing them to hallucinate, but since player 4 wont leave player 6 alone, meaning they hallucinate for the whole match
