Everyone is asking about a friend system for inviting friends but it's bad cuz, teaming, and invinting in quick game would be a terrible idea
Hera are my ideas,

For add a friend you can just press the gear next to a player's name for send a request that he can, ignore or accept, you could also disable friend request in settings.

You can set a statut whe' you are playing, Online, or do not disturb, Online statut would show if you're playing, in quick game or custom game. Do not disturb would disable request for joining ONLY IN CUSTOM GAME.

You can also invite friend only in custom game.
