Literally quickly opening it and closing, it would get you stuck

They fixed it in version 1.5 and now it’s broken again in version 1.7

How do you accidentally break something you already fixed?

It’s a simple answer as they don’t to change regarding the code to the wardrobes if they already fixed the bug or maybe it’s because they added the feature where you can quickly hide by holding the button therefore they change the code and broke it again

And believe me this can happen to the explorers too

So it’s not an only neighbor bug

When this happens it’s actually good and useful as you can guarantee a no caught bonus especially against tryhards

let's say you're playing an scary neighbor, you just transform immediately and all the kids are in one place, which means you can easily get rage and kill everyone
