why is raven brooks being microwaved

i decided to revisit the beta because i wanted to see what had changed
when i pressed play, the game looked like it was in the middle of a heatwave
i know that nobody works on the beta anymore, but is there an explanation for this?
(note: i have the same graphics as the full game and it works fine over in the full game, this just affects the beta)
