I'm just gonna assume this is in the alpha 2-3 canon or just one of those AUs you see every once in a while
(I mean heck - my character pfp is based off of a FNAF Security Breach AU)

I highly doubt canon Nicky would have these types of dreams considering he was kidnapped by some creepy man for about a month (also because it would just be concerning to think that a child would have those kinds of thoughts on their kidnapper)

But Alpha 2-3 Nicky, as far as I'm aware, is roughly around the same age as Theodore.

.. Actually now that I remember Alpha 3-4 Nicky was supposed to be Theodore's son so nevermind

its just really weird to me😭 like theodore canonically does some messed up stuff to nicky and an au should not an excuse to get away with shipping a problematic ship, like even if it wasnt even supposed to be a ship this still is just. weird.

im also pretty sure that the creator of the drawing does ship them, like its not an au or anything

You're right about au's. HN had so many storylines in canon, one scrapped after another, if somewhere, then here it's absolutely legit imo to make AU's, where the characters play different roles. because that's what the canon did too, and does to this day.

I have 20+ AU's for example. only one of them has to do anything with the characters from the final release of HN.

it was based on faust.
but..literally, there's so many possibilities because of the changing stories ..during alpha 1 times youtubers started joking with this whole shipping thing, if you see ship art, it's probably from THAT storyline (obviously not the family one which came after that)

The FNAF page on the Nintendo Switch shop, as I mentioned, had some HD art that would've otherwise been stuck in the Character Encyclopedia. FNAF 4's page regarding said game even had an unique Nightmare Balloon Boy render, oddly enough.
