please improve the boss battle with neighbor at the end of the first chapter

I decided to replay the game on a gamepad, I bought it for the first time, the first game where I decided to familiarize myself with it was hello neighbor 2.
Actually almost everything was fine, except for a couple of strange moments that are not so critical, but inconvenient. But here is the last battle with the neighbor... it's too difficult. it's inconvenient, it's infuriating. you try to develop some tactics, but it does not work. I spent about an hour to pass this stage and all because of the unrealistic complexity.
The neighbor's wrench is at an angle, with the edge facing you when you go behind the neighbor. because of this, I failed to pick up the wrench about 4 times, simply because I couldn't hit it adequately.
The paint in this chapter is completely useless, I thought it would slow him down or something, but it just disappears. I've tried to somehow preempt the neighbor with sounds, from glass or skeletonized boards, but he just ignores them. he goes his own way
What I suggest - Just add a bathtub. add the ability to dirty with paint neighbor, have him go to the bathtub, put the wrench in. leave him the same unrealistic speed and visibility, but there should at least be some strategies to distract him.
I also have a question, are there any real strategies? in the current version.

They should definitely remove the traps on the stairs

I think it would be possible to balance, put traps in other places or make it so that they reopen. battle can even be made more difficult, but you just need a way to counteract

while i agree that boss battle needs to improved, the bathtub suggestion feels weird. Like i dont think Neighbor would take a bath after a Journalist let his son out of a cage and the same journalist is now trying to get out of the building

Also they can make it so you need to throw a paint can for him to bath

Not that he randomly just goes and takes a bath

Idk i still feel like Ted wouldnt be the person to take a bath in the middle of a what is essentially a fight
