#Rooms in the museum that I think need to be changed

- Upside down room, honestly this is probably the most useless room in the museum, it only exists for a 1 minute puzzle and then turns into a hallway, this room could serve really well for something like the beta kitchen area, which would also make the museum feel like a more livable space, since right now peterson doesnt seem to have a food source
- Bottom statue room
Just like number 1, this room only serves to give you the key, and maybe some lore because of the statue, after that it turns completely useless in gameplay and is only a shortcut for the player to use, this could be turned into a workshop like the AI's seemed to have had in older HN2 versions, like the guests workshop in alpha 1.5, peterson could work on some things here. Or the living room which was scrapped with stairs, but the statue would have to be removed for this.
- Second floor attic entrance area
This area doesn't need a complete change, but it could use something like a couch with a TV like beta, just like some other rooms, this area lost all purpose except being a puzzle. Turn it into a living room peterson made himself.
- Applies to garage and hallway.
I think instead of the garage having a little crawlspace, it should be removed and a door should be put in the yellow closets location instead, which both the AI and the player can use.

- Hallway doors
I think the 2 hallway doors that connect to the big hall should be removed, they only slow down the ai, I think they should be turned into open frames instead.
- globe room
It fits the museum well, but could use some tiny changes like AI tasks, it also turns into one of those rooms you never enter unless you need to do the puzzle, maybe add a desk for mr peterson, or let him interact with his theory board?
How would it be the beta kitchen but also tell you about the lore
The lore being the cult picture right?
Could just hang that up somewhere

I agree with the idea of the feedback but i like some of the current rooms i honestly wish the museum was bigger lol
I dont dislike how the rooms look
it's just that most of them serve 0 gameplay purpose except being a 1 minuze puzzle or something
You go in, do a puzzle and never return
maybe get a picture that tells you something about the lore
but thats it

I mean he kinda would have one in the attic area

the exact extreme changes already happened but in reverse
with staircase and stuff
But now there's space for neither living room not staircase since there's a giant statue blocking everything 
If the statue doesnt serve a giant lore purpose it should just be removed
it has a secret passage in it for some reason

It's pretty visible they prioritized lore over gameplay
for the museum
everything has lore but hurts the gameplay in the process

beta kitchen was peak
Upside down room is great, but it could have an upside down smeg fridge with food in it
My issue with upside down room is
it's basically a flat ground with 2 puzzle things
it sucks
However when you Think About it
kitchen was peak
Peterson made one himslef
it doesnt have to be high quality
why would a museum not have a kitchen
In beta, it was Gerdas shop
just moved a fridge into it or something
peterson rn doesnt have anywhere he would get food from
it makes no sense
often in museums there are places you can buy food

Tho I really liked the statue reveal in the end, I thought it was clever, the statue just blocks a lot of rooms which had great potential
My main issue is simply that most rooms only serve puzzle purpose or lore

no logical area mr peterson would need for a routine

I think the main hall first floor needs some change aswell
it has too many glass showcases
More covered things and boxes

unpopular opinion: the fireplace room sucks
it felt like you're breaking into an abandoned place
now you just have a large front double door
it takes up so much space
and makes it so open and boring
I like the fireplace room concept but not the execution
it makes the museum feel small
I liked it in deep dive
with lots of hiding spots in the back with covered things and boxes
i liked how you could either choose to use the heavy doors to get in, or the hole
but now it's just glass showcase all over the place
heavy doors made the beta museum much more fun
and you had to first get in with the hole cuz the heavy doors were boarded
doesnt it use animations
They were annoying as hell bruh
He could literally come to you by the time you open it
thats why you have to escape him first
of course you couldnt open it while your being chased
