I really, really doubt they'd be cancelled, the team would give a update if that was the case. Game development is not easy and it is a bit frustrating to not get teasers or verification that they're working, but that's just how it is sometimes.

There isnt, the community managers have confirmed multiple times that an update is in the works, theyre not showing it until its done, so people dont get the false expectations that you have complained about
