I think this game is lacking in the replayability element. One thing that could fix this is having items generate in random places. For example, in the Peterson house, all the blocks for the safe are in the same place. The code's combo should be randomized, and the blocks should have different areas where they are able to spawn. This means each time you play, you'll have to search around since you don't know the exact locations they'll be at. The same goes with the dolls. Some new areas items could spawn could be things like drawers and cabinets. It wouldn't work for certain items like keys or animal heads, but for others it seems like a good idea to me.
