So I have a camera in the museum to observe mr.Peterson routine. And all he does is two things either sit on his chair or look at the case where the tiny blue house was. I know you're busy but it would be cool for him to have more things to do in his routine like in Hello neighbor 1

All the AIs actually have quite a few tasks they perform throughout the game, but it’s based on the part you’re playing. For The Neighbor, he will alternate depending on the night. For other characters, it’s as you complete puzzles. As far as I’m aware, they stop doing a lot of them in free roam.
