It's probably going to go the same way Xbox and PS did, with one mega patch releasing that has the 8 patches, and release patch 9 at a later date, unless they go ahead and port it along with the other 8 patches

I don’t use switch but I support the post since I understand with console updates. Either update it or it never should’ve existed on that platform.

I don't think switch will ever get any patches above patch 8, you can tell they already struggled porting it this far. No way patch 9 or 10 will get on it
