Pretty sure, when he was first added, he was unbalanced, but after the next update, they nerfed him.

The developers confirmed they have no plan to remove Taxidermist or Journalist from the game sadly.

i still agree i wish they werent in the game though, or at least their addition would have been smoother/better

I feel like it would be better to remove Quentin from the "explorer" classes, since not only would it keep the old lore of SN somewhat intact, but it would keep the normal tradition of adding a new neighbor class every Halloween

He's too weak!
If you REALLY have problems defeating him, then I advise you not to complain about the fact that he is “OP”, but to go and just learn how to play...
Taxidermist was balanced before the winter update, but because of people like you, he was made TOO weak...
And because people simply don’t want to learn how to play, we have another useless class!

Wich defeats the point of the game. The neighbor must be sneaky and stealthy. The taxidermist class isnt about stealth. He is about getting a gun and shooting everyone. Wich is PVP, not stealth. You can say that scary neighbor is also about PVP. But you have to at least be good at aiming. Wich gives a little challenge (and gives more motivation to be stealthy as for me). Taxidermist doesnt require any aiming skills. Wich is why this suggestion exists. You don't put any effort while playing as the Taxidermist

The taxidermist was a really bad addition. I get that he was one of the only real options but still. The other class still require you to be somewhat stealthy.

He doesn’t shoot as fast and his gun damage is nerfed depending on the range he shoots now. His reloading speed is especially reduced. But that doesn’t mean he’s not dangerous. He’s obviously still dangerous with his weapons and abilities.

Though, this doesn’t mean his addition to the game is not pointless though. They should have never added him to the game. The neighbor is meant to be smart and play it safe. But as Taxidermist you can literally just use your shotgun and spam it on the kids until time runs out and you automatically win as Neighbor. It’s somewhat unbalanced and boring to play since it’s not even challenging to use Taxidermist at all.

Or just remove him. Input in the game is pointless and people who use him just abuse the weapon. Even if they nerf him as a whole, he’d still be a problem unless they remove the gun ability and give him another ability that’s more balanced. Either the two, remove him as a character, or just remove his abilities and brainstorm another ability that’s balanced and possible to counter. Every Neighbor has their share of abilities that are possible to counter. But apparently, I don’t see that with the Taxidermist.

I think stamina would need to be nerfed, or being the neighbour against 2 leaders with the crown feels like getting bullied. But it's also annoying that you're out of stamina while your friend is about to be eliminated.

I know that its possible winning with him being around. But thats extremely rare. In most of the cases i got 3v1ed by taxidermist

just remove his stun debuff, kids couldn't use their ability to escape or fight against his his gun because of the ridiculous stun effect.

No it’s really not. When you have crucial characters to story lore you can’t just leave them, delete them, or forget about them. What would Harry have done if Hagrid never came? What would Andy have done if he never gave his toys always to grow up? These are the Plot Points of a story so the game goes for crucial characters. Feedbacks is when you give an Opinion on something and the gameDevs take it into account that doesn’t mean it’s set in stone or it’s obligatory to affect the storyline and or plot.

I think that’s a skill issue. I’ve survived him plenty of times on my own. Bro has a PORTABLE SONAR yet couldn’t find me. And when he did I beat him up the two seconds (with the power milk)

The taxidermist is balanced a bit, just use sauce pans and stay away, but I agree that he shouldn’t be in the game whatsoever 🤷‍♂️

I wish all neighbors had the handheld sonar minus the detection skill. Like the ability to mess with the lights and gates would be nice.

No, we don’t need the scary neighbor with rage traps and sonar a you’re just asking this game to become essentially impossible as the explorers, especially against neighbors who camp at the door and I really hope they figure out some way to punish campers in the next update

Again, I’ve come up with a few suggestions like he will immediately be sent to his room if he stands near the door for too long

Or he’ll slowly start taking small amount damage like he’s being affected by smoke bomb trap but it’s constant and he will not stop until he steps away from the door for 10 seconds
