can't unlock last key in policeman act1

Unfortunately, playing the game, I was not able to unlock the last padlock on the policeman to the door. I checked how other developers played the game and according to how they played I deduced that they obtained the switch from the green box on the first floor. In my case there is no such box, also there is no switch which has the effect of blocking the progress of the game

The switch has two possible spawns depending on the version/patch of the game you're on.

Either in a crate
Or beneath the bed on the second floor, needing you to pull a lever.
