The neighbor in the end (final boss) already had enough with quentin, even locking him up at the attic. So i think that a cool details is that when the player is in the final boss, and they get jumpscare, the regular mr peterson jumpscare gets replaced with a more aggresive one, where he grabs quentin my the neck, something like the old deep dive (it doesn't have to be the deep dive jumpscare, but something like the neighbor grabbing quentin by the neck)

Neighbor and in the usual jumpscare grabs Quentin by the neck! This is especially visible from 3 face.
I think that in the deep dive when he caught you, you could somehow free yourself, (try to pay attention at the jumpscares in the video), then if you couldn't free yourself maybe he would drag you out of the house a bit like the guest did. in my opinion it was a mechanic that was later discarded because it was too difficult to make or something similar.
yeah ngl I think the dragging mechanic would've been nice if they kept it but it was mostly buggy for the most part
