Hi Matt, the caps filter doesn't really prevent hate speech and it's turned off for most rooms. Where it does work, it only deletes what has more than 70% caps. When people use whole sentences in caps they seem to be shouting.
We've changed the caps filter and only apply it to those who are constantly shouting
