#Snow Thief Rework

To start this off, I'd like to say Snow Thief is a event that can be simply described as 'Great Concept, Bad Execution.'

A event that requires 6 people to all work together, using their skills to win is a great idea! However the problems with this event started with trying to start it in the first place. The way to start it involved these lasers that were invisible to the normal eye unless you used Clown's Smokebomb, however the problem with this is that there were zero indicators that we'd need to use smokebomb to find these things. The only hints we got were 'Just play some games and have fun.', now I know that developers need to keep their secrets but this was really unfair in my eyes as it reminded me of the shovel in the vending machine that had no hints to it during the lucy event.

Enough talk about that, I think the idea of the lasers themselves is pretty good but it could have been done better with a proper hint like 'Maybe in the mist you'd see better' or something like that cause you can't expect a player to throw a smokebomb in the little secret area in the greenhouse while playing Quick Games.

As for the event itself, it needs some tweaks here and there, it's easy to mess up and need to restart because of one item going missing like Inventor's gears or the fact that if Inventor crafts the wrong thing you'd need to restart all over. Bagger's little invisible maze in the lava can be really annoying as well if someone doesn't help you with the camera cause they don't realize they can see the maze or Bagger himself doesn't have a camera.

Now we get to probably the most frustrating part, the ending. Pressing 6 buttons at the same time to put the snow thief in a cage is once again cool in concept, but there's a fatal flaw here. The Snow Thief is desynced on all players screens that means there's a big chance the snow thief won't be in the cage when it goes down and they won't get the trophy meaning oh yes, they'll have to restart all over again and hope that it won't happen again.

The ending is also in my personal opinion rather anti-climatic. Snow Thief just does the get out of my house emote 3 times without saying anything and it ends.

There's also a couple brand new problems brought out cause of the current update and that's two things.

  1. Snowballs can be made anywhere in the event, allowing anyone to bypass puzzles easily by snowman stacking.
  2. The normal boxes you use to stack are replaced by presents which are smaller and harder to stack, making box stacking nearly impossible.

Snow Thief needs to be fixed and maybe tweaked a small bit. I wish I could directly give the team my ideas but I'm bad at visualizing them directly.

I realized I named this snow thief rework but only really gave a review on it, i might need to work on this a bit more.
