The game is insanely linear and repetitive and there is zero replay value. I think that a challenge mode would be a pretty fun addition to spice up the gameplay and make it insanely fun to replay.

How the challenge mode will work:

In the menu there will be an option called “Challenge mode” where you are brought to an options menu of the different houses you can complete and there will be 8 levels to every house, When you click on a house you will choose the latest level and you will be spawned in front of the selected house and you have to complete a certain task in a limited amount of time along with the AI being buffed heavily.

The task will mainly have objectives similar to RBO where you have to steal a object from a house and bring them back to a certain area know as the “deposit area”, The difference with this one is that it’s not online and you have to collect 2 heavily guarded object along with a timer.

And when time runs out a animation will play of Quentin getting chloroformed by the antagonist of the house and Quentin will wake up in the news station and open his notebook and there will be a picture of the antagonist of that house circled indicating that the antagonist still has yet to be investigated.

If Quentin gets all of the objects then he will open up his notebook and put a x over a picture of antagonist of that house and he will respawn in front of that house.

The reward for completing the challenges is a golden fire extinguisher that sends you higher into the air and a badge in the menu, I know it sounds ridiculous but I don’t think it’ll interrupt the game.

the cloroformed anim is a little to dark but everything else is okay

Quentin was also hit in the head by a hammer in the “ending” of HN2 which is a near death concussion or it can result in death in general.

Or they could just

#

ahem

#

Add back the open world for replayability

#

And actually make the AI adaptive like promised

#

With traps and predictive pathfinding

#

Maybe that's not so simple, but it would add replayability. (as is what we were promised in the past)

That is true but a challenge mode would be pretty dame fun ngl

There would also be more to do with a challenge mode besides going back into a completed house aimlessly with no objective
