If the developers actually do make the AI more adaptive in the future, then we may need difficulty modes added to the game.
Easy: Current AI
Normal: Like current AI, but the neighbors will also set traps based on where they frequently spot you. AIs will also be able to better track down the player, remembering which room the player went in.
Hard (recommended for the true Hello Neighbor experience): Like normal, except the AI will fully learn from the player's actions; remembering what paths and closets the player used in the past, and placing traps in those specific spots, along with cutting the player off.
