I had just got the last key the top lock was gone, and i'd unlocked it, I entered the hallway, one load screen later im back in the closet in the main area of that room and theres another lock on it.

I could load my save where i'd saved prior to entering the basement final act, but thats another 40 minutes of time that I'll never get back if it occurs again.
