i feel like fake neighbor needs a story, most of the people dont agree but there are some who agree, and fake neighbor isnt something weird or anything. He is just like beatrix, mj, and the guest. Himself could just be someone who is already just following the neighbor, and hope to see him as a entitiy in hn2.

In the graphic novel it is shown that the guest disguises himself as different people, and at the end of the novel disguises as Theo himself, so by "someone you know" is probably the guest. So in a way, we already have the fake neighbor.
