Ghost is a very flawed class and needs changes, imo. He's very annoying to play against and is too op against solo kids, so here are some changes that I think would fix that a bit (had to split this up in 2 parts because it's too long).

  • Lower his speed, He's faster than a normal speed boost and if you have the ghostly speed perk equipped, he's even faster than a chocolate bar and leader boost. If you're playing as a slow class like Bagger, Brave or Detective, your chances of escaping him are really low. If you do manage to escape him, he can just instantly fly to a sonar and track you at all times with his OP movement.

  • Give him a cooldown for ghost form, If he transforms out of his ghost form, he will get a (10 second?) cooldown so he can't just instantly transform and get to you in a flash, giving you some time to breathe and think about life. I know he has a cooldown now, but it's so short that it doesn't really make much of a difference.

  • Give him a longer grab cooldown when exiting ghost form, He can just instantly grab you after exiting ghost form to the point where you can't even react when he ambushes you. I know the cooldown got longer this update, but it's also really short and doesn't really make a difference.

  • Make him lose a bit of health when near a light for too long, So if he is in ghost form and near a light source for too long, he will slowly lose his health to avoid him just always being next to you and always needing to watch your back.

  • Buff his blocking doors ability, Him being able to block doors is a good way to split up kids, but if there's a leader, bagger or a kid with a chocolate bar, they can easily break down the door in less than 3 seconds and save the kid. I think doors that are blocked by ghost should need 4/6 hits to open regardless if you're bagger, leader etc., just like normal/keycard doors. Maybe also make it so that he can close doors quicker if he's in ghost form?

  • Buff his Polterlight, Make it so that you can't turn on your light if he uses his polterlight until the lights stop flickering.

  • Make him be able to turn off lights from a farther distance, I think he should be able to turn off lights from a tiny bit more far away than normally.

  • Fix some light sources not letting you transform even if you're not in the same room, Sometimes you can't exit the ghost form because some light sources go through walls, making you not able to exit ghost form.

I will say that Ghost is a little too fast when being in Ghost form, like he zooms

Not too much of a fan of him losing health while next to a source of light imo, like I get it's his weakness, but idk I feel it wouldn't work well in gameplay

You know I always wondered why ghost doesn’t take damage in the rain because you know ectoplasm + water = nothing good

I feel like they should make it more powerful. Maybe they can make it so that when Polterlight is used, all lights will turn off in the area of the map that the ability was used in. And when the lights go out, lights will have a 50% chance to either break, or just turn off. A broken light means it cannot be turned back on at all.

I don't necessarily think this is a good idea, but it's an idea I had to make Polterlight feel more useful.

Light ability will Disable (not just turn off) lights temporarily that are turned off that way you cannot flicker them. Flashlights and Lamps will need to be interacted with a bit to turn back on.

Health and Stamina Regen gets pulled to a crawl when in spirtual form to prevent ghosts from simply rengerating health and not allowing people to hit him

Flying speed is nerfed and the perk to increase speed is replaced with something else.

Spiritual to physical Grab Cooldown is a bit longer, with it being 1-2 seconds.

If ghost is hit while going spiritual, the process resets and they go back to normal.

Ghost cannot repeatedly slime the same door over and over again.

Ghost can reinforce windows with his slime, however only non broken ones. He can also lock gates in place by ghosting through them.

The problem with that is he can basically become a fighter due to his stamina not mattering for how fast it can be regained

These are stupid things to say every leader use’s inspiration it’s the main skill every brave uses counterstrike it saves you every scout sues slingshot it’s her only ability besides the running with slingshot and gate ability is a secondary skill that requires things to collect I rarely ever see it
