The launch of Hello Neighbor 2 wasn't terrible, but generally quite dishonest and kinda scammy. You lied to the fanbase about the neural network, and produced a relatively small, four hour long game, despite the hefty price tag of $40. The DLC's still suck, and don't really fit into a game that was supposed to be about an open world. Hey, the open world still isn't here! I don't see why all the houses can't be open from the get go.
We're still lacking key Hello Neighbor features, even excluding the neural network. The AI still easily loses the player, if you go around a corner, the AI often has no clue where you went. We hardly got a variety traps, just brear-traps. And we still lack teased characters like the man in the hat. The story and mystery is non existant, the mysteries teased in the beta are wiped from the full game. Yet we have hardly gotten many big or frequent updates, and now you move on to other projects like some new game, and the animated series.
Please, focus your effort on what should've been the grand sequel and comeback to the poorly received Hello Neighbor. You want the game series to no longer be dead? Make up for past mistakes, focus your companies recources, effort, and marketing on Hello Neighbor 2.
