Voice Chat not working on Switch

I can't hear people's microphones and mine isn't working, but my friend (also on switch) can. They used to work for me but it stopped working recently (maybe about a week ago) When they talk the microphone icon doesn't even show up

Hi! Could you recall any changes that might have affected this during this past week? E.g., change of network, in-game settings, game update, etc. Also, please make sure that you've tried the following and see if anything helps:

• Restart your Switch by holding down the POWER Button for at least three seconds, then select Power Options > Restart;
• Make sure your system software and game are on the latest version;
• Check for corrupt data;
• Delete and reinstall the game;
• If the issue persists and a microSD card is being used with the console, try downloading the game directly to the system memory.

All my settings and stuff should be the same, I haven't messed with them. But I tried all those methods and it still isn't working

Hey, thanks for letting us know! Could you also try connecting to another network and check if that helps?
