Holidays in SN have always been lackluster, so here are some features that could help spice up them up a bit. This post isn't necessary to make big changes, but it is to make holiday updates feel a bit different and a bit unique in a way.
CHRISTMAS
Hot Cocoa
"A mixture made with chocolate-flavored power and warm milk. Perfect for the cold weather."
-Drinking this will warm the player up, giving them Cold Resistance for 30 seconds. A player who
is affected by Cold Resistance cannot freeze when out in the snowy weather and does not
suffer the movement speed penalty.
Lamp:
"A rather large source of light, but still gets the job done."
-The change to this will be so that it slightly warms the player up when outside, but they will still
suffer a 10% speed penalty due to being cold.
HALLOWEEN
Lollipop and/or Licorice:
-Consuming these items will allow the player to move 5% faster for 30 seconds.
Punch
"A drink mainly made from multiple different fruit juices and carbonated soda."
-Drinking this causes an 15% movement speed bonus for 10 seconds. However, players must
go around the map looking for this in bowls. A bowl is filled with a maximum of 6 cups of
Punch. Once the bowl is emptied, it cannot be refilled. A maximum of 2 bowls can be
found in the map.
SUMMER
Firework:
"An explosive device used mainly celebrations. If used incorrectly, it can become dangerous."
-A maximum of 2 fireworks will spawn in the map. Players can light a firework, in which case
they'll need to throw the firework before it explodes. An exploding firework will blind anyone
nearby in a 2 meter radius and will damage them. Players who don't throw the firework will become
knocked once it explodes. However, the Neighbor will survive if the firework explodes while he is
holding it, but will take significant damage.
