i think it would be cool if the characters had stats that make them more unique and allow for different playstyles. The stats would be speed, stealth, stamina and strenght.
Speed is self explanatory. Stealth is how loud your sounds are and from how far the sonar can detect you (for example, good stealth = sonar can't detect you from across the map). Stamina is how many times you can throw an item until you have no stamina (good stamina = 5 throws, decent stamina = 3 throws, bad stamina = 2 throws). Strenght is how far you can throw and how long you need to aim for your item to be fully charged.

The default neighbor stun is 1 second, any less than that is kinda bad

i thought itd be better that way cuz i dont want neighbors getting killed in 5 hits by a bagger

Inventor and detective on the other hand could get grabbed even after stunning the neighbor if it's too low

i think in order for some of the stats to properly work, they need to change some things

Maybe strength could be how far and fast you can throw

if the longer stun would be implemented they would need to maybe make it so that the neighbor cant get stunned and hit again when he is already stunned

i tried to make the stats fit their character and also balance it

like bagger has a hard time getting away from the neighbor but his good stealth makes up for it

I think being stunned again is fine only because I can think of scenarios where a kid tries to stun the neighbor when the neighbor was already just stunned and then they get caught instantly, mayeb instead you can still get stunned even while already stunned but you can't take damage a second time

The other classes have a buff in one of their stats but lacking in another stat makes up for it

i think ill change strenght to only how far you can throw and how long it needs to fully charge

I just treat all the feedback ideas as hypothetical and mostly for fun unless I see it as being something they would actually add and can easily add

Maybe the sanity thing could work like this:-

After a game lasts so long and a kid had seen their teammates die or get trapped in beartraps and seen the neighbor multiple times and basically had scary moments etc, their sanity will slowly get worse theres level 1 sanity where a kid would basically just breath heavily and scream at random moments for no reason or have awful flashbacks, level 2 is basically all that but with extra slow running and hallucinations. Now level 3 is like level 2 but the difference is; the kid hallucinates, a lot and sometimes would knock out like maybe faint lol and maybe sobbing sounds slightly crying and when they see the neighbor their vision gets blurry and more weaker.

when not seeing the neighbor, fear will not take ahold of you

Ah maybe but even when you have like for example level 2 & 3 sanity & the neighbor isnt here you will still experience those sanity traits however, if you have level 1 sanity and the neighbor isnt there you will experience less of that
