so me and my friend both like to play secret neighbour quite a lot and we then tried to play with each other but my friend plays on steam where as i play on xbox and there does not seem to play any cross play support for steam and xbox, could there maybe be an update that would allow this not just for me but for other people as well.

Let's then add some more useless crap for 80-90% of players....
It would be inconvenient to spend resources on this, and in any case this is not so easy to do...
So why would they make a feature that will be useful for a very small part of the players?
