Some people have been wanting ways to block doors in the main map. I think maybe some doors could have chain guard locks like these. You can use these to lock out NPCs, or NPCs can use them if they think you're hiding in the room with them. NPCs could maybe try and bust down the door to get in rooms with these locks. Also since these still allow doors to open slightly, you could use this to try and peak out of the room. I think there's something similar to this in the Peterson house that you can't interact with.
