optimization is probably one of the most hardest challenges especially since HN2 has 9 patches and the Switch can't really run good (I'm a switch player too)

What do you think the porting team is doing? Just forgetting about the switch port? It takes a long time to port. Especially to a console as small and weak as the switch.

I agree fora switch update though. i have been waiting foor ages

got the game for Christmas. Finished it in a day and then decided to buy the dlc's. Can't even play them as they are actually incompletable. Been waiting for a patch ever since

I feel you man I'm a switch player too but usually I just play HN2 on PC ig the reason why the patches are taking way too long is because the optimization of the switch

The switch can run some incredibly graphical games like outlast at a pretty good framerate. They just need to optimize the game better without degrading all the quality. Hopefully this will come when the patches drop for switch. I got hello neighbor 2 for Christmas and the dlcs but can't even finish them as they are incompletable. Hopefully the updates will come out soon but its been awhile. All we can do is wait
