sometimes when you drop an item it will just disappear and go back to its spot where you found it

i remember my friend giving me 2 gears,then when i turned back one of the gears disappeared and teleported back to the original spot

i guess you could just drop your current item you wanna swap out instead of doing it in one key press (e) but then again it can still get very annoying
